SWIFT Payment Status Codes
A clear reference for the most common ISO 20022 payment statuses returned during tracking.
| Code | Status | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| ACCC | Accepted Settlement Completed | Settlement on the creditor account has completed. |
| ACSC | Accepted Settlement Completed | The payment has completed settlement successfully. |
| ACSP | Accepted Settlement in Process | The payment is accepted and is moving through settlement. |
| ACTC | Accepted Technical Validation | The message passed technical and syntax validation. |
| ACWC | Accepted With Change | The instruction was accepted after one or more changes. |
| PDNG | Pending | Processing is waiting for an action, review, or additional information. |
| RCVD | Received | The receiving institution has received the payment instruction. |
| RJCT | Rejected | The payment instruction was rejected. Contact the sending bank for the reason. |
| CANC | Cancelled | The payment instruction has been cancelled. |
Statuses describe processing state; they are not a substitute for confirmation from the sending or receiving bank.
